Bisque shoulderhead of lady with down-tilted head, blonde sculpted hair with curls onto her forehead and a loosely-braided coronet at her crown, painted bright blue eyes, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, sewn-on stockings and red leather shoes. Germany, circa 1885. Generally excellent, original body.

12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, four tiny teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, the doll is wearing antique costume and undergarments. Generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: SH 1249-3 dep Germany. Simon and Halbig, circa 1900, rare model especially in this tiny size, with original wig, body and body finish.

Each has bisque shoulder head with sculpted hair and facial features, muslin body, bisque limbs, wearing factory original costumes. Including bald-headed grandpa with grey sideburns, two younger men with moustache or goatee,grey-haired grandma, two women with sculpted short brown curly hgair, two children. The dolls are arranged within a gilt-framed shadowbox. Generally excellent. Germany, circa 1900.
Lot # 5 (Sale Order: 5 of 60)
The light brown mohair teddy bear has amber glass eyes, brown embroidered nose, jointed limbs, swivel head, felt paw pads, silk button in ear. Along with small teddy bear (one ear missing). And with pink woolen piglet with blue glass eyes, Scottish terrier "Terry", baby deer with green glass eyes, seated lion, and penguin with original silver Steiff buttons. And with Maxi, Squirrel, and small piglet (no buttons). Generally excellent. Germany, Steiff, circa 1950 (except Maxi which is circa 1980s).
Lot # 6 (Sale Order: 6 of 60)
8" deer. Each is mohair with painted details, including horned deer, giraffe, and squirrel each with black bead eyes and each with original button in ear and cloth tag. And "Sonny" bunny and "Gibbon", each with original paper label at neck, cloth label and button in ear. And a sixth animal, possibly Steiff, with velvet head, mohair body and floppy ears, amber glass eyes. All excellent except dog which has sparseness of mohair. Steiff, circa 1950.

Solid domed bisque socket head with amber tinted complexion and painted black hair, tiny brown glass sleep eyes, painted features, closed mouth with center accent line, amber-tinted composition baby body, antique composition, and including silk kimono. Marks: AM Germany 353/3 K. Generally excellent. Marseille, circa 1920.

Bisque shoulderhead turned to the right, brown glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, kid body with pin-jointing at hips and elbows, gusset-jointing at knees, bisque lower arms. Marks: M made in Germany. Generally excellent, very sturdy original body, perfect bisque hands. Kestner, circa 1890.

20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted facial features, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, dimpled chin, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing blue velvet costume and cap, stockings, shoes. Generally excellent. Marks: H made in Germany 12 143. Kestner, circa 1915.

Poured wax shoulderhead with rosy complexion, blue glass inset eyes, tinted features, closed mouth with downcast expression, blonde mohair wig with inserted tendrils of hair, softly-stuffed muslin body, poured wax lower limbs. There is an old reglue at the neck. Body is stamped "Hamley's Regent St,..". Included is an early transfer print gown. English, in the Pierotti manner, circa 1865.

Solid domed bisque socket head with rich brown complexion, black tinted baby hair and brows, tiny brown glass sleep eyes, closed mouth with coral shaded lips, brown composition five-piece baby body, antique knitwear suit. Marks: AM 341/6 K Germany. Generally excellent. Marseille, circa 1920, rare brown complexioned doll with rare socket head, original body and body finish.

Each is firmly-stuffed mask-faced head with painted blue side-glancing eyes, dark eyeshadow, bow-shaped lips, with wrapped turban cap, and attached to colorful wooden parade stick. Along with a novelty porcelain elephant head also attached to parade stick. Very good/excellent. Circa 1920s.

Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, painted features, open mouth four porcelain teeth, outlined lips, pierced ears, (new) blonde human hair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Marks: SH 1079 dep 7 Germany. Generally excellent. Simon and Halbig for the French market, circa 1895, the doll has original leather Jumeau shoes marked "Paris Depose 6" with bee symbol.

"The wooden stable has four stanchions on the first floor with two metal hay racks which house two wooden horses; and an ""apartment"" on the second floor with hinged roof, applied shutters, and painted finish in original ochre and green with brown trim. Very good condition. Germany, Moritz Gottschalk, circa 1900.

Bisque sockethead, blue glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, with two porcelain upper teeth, dimpled lip corners and very pronounced chin dimple, auburn human hair, composition baby body, antique costume. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 118/A 50. Generally excellent. few wig pulls at back of head by crown. Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1915, a rare model to find.

Solid domed bisque socket head with slender face, brown painted brushstroked hair in casual arrangement, blue glass eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, closed mouth with beaded row of tiny teeth, French composition fully-jointed body, wearing original folklore costume of Brittany. Generally excellent, one tiny flake at bottom of neck socket, tiniest pinflake at left eye rim flake. SFBJ, circa 1912.

All cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features, complexion and hair, short brown painted hair with curls swirled across the forehead, small brown painted eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, accented nostrils of tiny nose, closed mouth, blushed ears, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed hips. Faintly stamped Kathe Kruse on feet. Good/very good condition, some body spotting, scuffs on face. Germany, Kathe Kruse, circa 1910.

x 13"w. Of finely-grained golden oak, the roll-top desk has interior niches, two pencil drawers, and six small drawers, each with wooden knob pull. Excellent condition. Early 1900s.

"10"" (25 cm.) l. 6""h. The wooden table is covered with rose cotton table cover overlaid with woven lace and trimmed with rose silk. The table is set with pewter candle holders, miniature holiday tree with tiny candles, and nine various plates of pies, cakes, breads and other treats. For the French market, circa 1890. Excellent condition.

Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 76 Germany. Generally excellent, few minor wig rubs at back of head, original body with fine original finish. Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1915.
Lot # 23 (Sale Order: 23 of 60)
17" and 12" head circumference. Each has solid domed bisque head with flanged neck, tinted brown baby hair, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, painted features, closed mouth, muslin body in classic shape, celluloid hands, the larger with very fine antique baby gown trimmed with tucks and embroidery, and the smaller with original factory muslin body having original Bye-lo label. Marks: copr. by Grace S. Putnam made in Germany. (bodies also stamped). Generally excellent. Germany, from original designs by Grace S. Putnam, circa 1923.
Lot # 24 (Sale Order: 24 of 60)
Each has socket head of hard composition/wood pulp, with painted side-glancing eyes, "O" shaped mouth, mohair wig in long braids (girls) or short bob (the one boy), cloth armature body for posing, and wearing original folklore costume, and preserved in original colorful box. Two of the dolls have original Baitz labels. Excellent condition. Circa 1940.
Lot # 25 (Sale Order: 25 of 60)
"12"" (30 cm.) x 7"" x 7"". The three-sided wooden grocery store with angled sides has fancily spindled front columns, original painted blue interior walls and lithographed paper floor, faux-wooden foodstuff drawers with paper food labels, matching counter. The store is fitted with various food stuffs, scale, tin handled box, and bisque-headed doll. Good condition. Germany, circa 1880.
