Bisque socket head with pink-tinted complexion, painted facial features, intaglio dark blue eyes, closed mouth with laughing expression, two beaded lower teeth, brunette mohair wig in original side-coiled braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Generally excellent. Marks: 0 Germany. Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910, the all-original little girl with wonderful expression, is preserved in her original box.

Each has bisque socket head with solid domed, painted blonde baby hair, painted facial features, blue intaglio eyes, closed mouth with downcast pouting expression, composition bent limb baby body, matching costume of knit jackets and bonnets, flannel baby pants. The pair are presented in a woven wheeled baby bed with lace trim. Marks: (Heubach square mark) Germany. Generally excellent, Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912.
Lot # 3 (Sale Order: 3 of 60)
Each has paper mache shoulder head with black sculpted hair in an elaborate coiffure, painted features, slender kid body, wooden lower arms and legs, painted orange flat shoes. Including smaller doll with very full ringlet curl clusters at each side of face and a chignon at the back of head, wearing original muslin body and undergarments. And larger doll with her hair looped smoothly over each ear and captured in a tightly-coiled braided chignon, wearing original (worn and spotted) costume and undergarments. Original finish on each with rubs, overall good condition. Germany, circa 1840.

15" (39 cm. )Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, costumed. Marks: K* Simon & Halbig 39. Generally excellent, original body and body finish, two finger tips broken. Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912.
Lot # 5 (Sale Order: 5 of 60)
Porcelain shoulderhead of adult lady with elongated throat, black sculpted hair waved away from her face into loosely-coiled chignon, painted features, closed mouth, original original body with kid arms, carton cone-shaped skirt which contains clockwork mechanism, brass feet with hidden walking tips. The doll is preserved in her original labeled box, and is in very fine working condition (no costume). Key included. American, circa 1865, with original German porcelain head.

Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, dimpled chin, pierced ears, (new) brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, Marks: S&H 1249 Germany 10 1/2. Bisque excellent, body is original and original finish except repaint on legs. Simon and Halbig, circa 1890.

All cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features and hair in center- parted fashion with two ringlet curls in front of each ear, and ringlet curls around the nape of neck, defined eye sockets with shaded brown eyes, heavy eyedots, tinted brows, nostrils, lips of closed mouth, stitch-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, antique homespun dress with cord details, undergarments. Fair/good condition, original painting with some old re-varnish, some body repairs especially to fingers and ankles. American, Izannah Walker of Rhode Island, circa 1865, the most sought after model of the rare American doll with beautifully-painted ringlet curls.

One-piece porcelain doll depicting a standing young toddler posed with legs apart and arms extended in front with little closed fists, all-over pink tinting, blonde sculpted hair, painted facial features, grey upper glancing eyes, closed mouth. Generally excellent. Germany, circa 1885, rare size of the popular doll.

Marks: 262 Germany (old German lettering initials). Generally excellent, one baby finger broken. Catterfelder Puppenfabrick, circa 1917, fine antique wig and especially beautiful baby gown.

Marks: made in Germany JDK 237. Generally excellent. Kestner, circa 1914, their beloved model "Hilda".

Marks: 131 12. Generally excellent. C.F. Kling, circa 1880, beautiful larger model with wonderful bisque and expression.

Shoulderhead with sculpted short brown wind-blown hair, sculpted ears, defined enamel eyes, closed mouth, very plump cheeks, sculpted arms and legs with expressive fingers, and plump folds at ankles, defined toes, original velvet and silk costume. Very good condition, original finish, scuffing on legs, one finger re-glued. Neapolitan, early 19th century.

Marks: 7782 Heubach (square) Germany. Generally excellent. Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912, the model known as "Coquette, the doll was originally in the collection of Puppenspielzueg Museum of Davos Switzerland (tag included).
Lot # 20 (Sale Order: 20 of 60)
Wax shoulderhead with enamel movable eyes, open mouth with tongue, old muslin body, wax arms, with antique undergarments and bonnet. There is a wire lever in the torso which, when moved back and forth, causes the doll to open and close its eyes, and (a very rare feature) to stick its tongue in and out. Wax is fair condition (sold as is), mechanism functions well. Rare doll, mid-1800s, wonderful expression.

Solid domed bisque socket head, brown brushstroked hair with forelock curl, blue glass "Jewel" inset eyes, painted features, closed mouth modeled as though open and laughing, with row of beaded teeth, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, costumed. Generally excellent, original body finish except finish on hands worn. Marks: 227. SFBJ, circa 1915.

The 24 2" square wooden blocks are covered on all six sides with lithographed scenes of children in various playful scenes, including carnival scenes, outdoor games, some including children with dolls and toys. Included are lithographed prints that depict the six various puzzles that can be created. Very good/excellent condition. Germany, circa 1890.
